Trapt

Trapt is a rock band that emerged in the early 2000s, gaining recognition for their post-grunge and alternative rock sound. Formed in Los Gatos, California, in 1995, the band underwent several lineup changes before solidifying with lead vocalist Chris Taylor Brown, guitarist Simon Ormandy, bassist Peter Charrell, and drummer Brendan Hengle.

Trapt's breakthrough came with their self-titled album "Trapt," released in 2002. The album featured the hit single "Headstrong," which propelled the band to mainstream success. "Headstrong" became a chart-topping rock anthem, showcasing the band's hard-hitting sound and resonating with a broad audience.

Following their debut's success, Trapt continued to release albums, including "Someone in Control" (2005), "Only Through the Pain" (2008), and "Reborn" (2013). While subsequent releases didn't reach the same level of commercial success as their debut, Trapt maintained a dedicated fanbase.

Over the years, Trapt's musical style evolved, incorporating elements of alternative metal and hard rock. Despite lineup changes and shifts in the music industry landscape, the band continued to tour and release new music.

Trapt's presence in the rock scene extended into the 2020s, with the band remaining active in both recording and touring.   Connick Jr. is a pianist and singer-songwriter who started playing publicly music at the age of five. When he was nine, Connick Jr. performed a piano concerto with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra. He started recording music with a local jazz band at the age of ten. After moving to NYC to study at Hunter College and Manhattan School of Music where he signed with Columbia Records and released his first self-titled album in 1987.
